Peñablanca
Peñablanca is 20 minutes away from Tuguegarao city center and home of Callao Cave. Callao Cave boasts of massive limestone formations, skylights and a chapel. After caving, most tourists enjoy cruising the Pinacanauan River. It is conducive for kayaking, boating and swimming while the mountains on its sides are perfect for trekking and mountaineering.

Sta. Ana
Sta. Ana, Cagayan is 158 kilometers northeast of Tuguegarao City. This town is home of breathtaking beaches like Anguib, Nangaramoan and Palaui Island. The popular American reality TV show Survivor filmed two seasons in Sta. Ana. Palaui island is named by CNN as one of the top 10 best beaches in the world.

Tuguegarao City, the capital of the Province of Cagayan and the Regional Center of Cagayan Valley, is a major urban center. The city is also the center for the higher education in Northeast Luzon. It is the regional tourism service center because of its accessibility to tourism attractions, spots and destinations.

How To Get There

By Air
There are two to three daily flights from Manila to Tuguegarao operated by Cebu Pacific Air and Philippine Airlines. All Tuguegarao bound flights depart from Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3. Each flight takes one hour.
By Land
There are many daily and overnight buses from Manila to Tuguegarao. Popular bus companies are GV FLorida and Victory Liner. Bus stations can be found in Cubao, Sampaloc and Caloocan. Bus trips take eight to ten hours.
